Extension Tech Inc. · Markham, Ontario

Software that extends real life.

We build location-aware products for the neighbourhoods people actually live in — a game-powered economy for local businesses, and a safety net for the people who look out for each other.

Our products

Two products, one idea: the real world, extended.

Both start from where people actually are — a postal code, a street, a live location — and add something the physical world can’t do on its own.

Boundary

A virtual city, built on your real one.

Local businesses publish flyers, coupons and group deals. Residents shop, earn silver and join guilds — then spend that same silver in a multiplayer game set on a real-world map.

  • A web app, two mobile apps and an MMORPG
  • One shared in-world economy across all four
  • Built on real map data: your neighbourhood is the game board
Got Your SixIn device trials

I’ve got your six.

A personal-safety app that alerts the emergency contacts you choose — when you press SOS, when you share your live location, or automatically if you go quiet for too long.

  • A dead-man’s switch for everyday life
  • SOS and live “Track me” location sharing
  • Voice-activated SOS, processed entirely on the phone

How we work

Small team, whole stack, real places.

  • Location at the core

Real map tiles, postal codes and live coordinates aren’t features we bolt on. They’re where both products begin.

  • Built end to end, in-house

Mobile apps, web apps, a Unity game and the servers behind them — designed and engineered by the same team.

  • Honest about what’s shipped

We audit our own code and say plainly what’s live, what’s in trials and what’s still a prototype.
